I picked her up at the ferry and we went right downtown for a great walk in Stanley Park then checked into the Wedgewood Hotel.
its a lovely boutique hotel on Robson so very close to the best shopping Vancouver has to offer
spanish coffee
mint mohito
artichoke and spinach dip
dry ribs
bocconcini salad
I was having so much fun drinking and eating I didn't even remember to take pics until we had already dove in
then more shopping at Holt Renfrew and
robson street
ok I sooooo want this
then back to the hotel for drinkies
then off to dinner at Earls
started with scotch on the rocks this time, can't even remember what Gerry had to drink this time
scotch
calamari
and I totally forgot to take pics of dinner, Gerry had a lovely pesto pizza and I had a tasty salad of some type, it had carmalized walnuts and goat cheese which I love, but again I forget
then back to the hotel to get organized for the concert...and more drinkies, I just love drinkies
a quick cab ride to GM Place
they started off about this far away, we could have been right up with them but I hate crowds, and I like to dance so I stay a bit back
then they came down their extended stage and where alot closer
this drummer put on the very best solo I have ever seen, you can see his 3rd drum set rose into the air
if I find Gerry has better pics i'll post some more later
then we topped off today with an always yummy bacon and egg breakfast at the hotel. Forgot my camera, what a silly blogger I was just having too much to remember to take pics. From there checked out took Gerr Bear to the ferry and off back home
missed you all
