Christmas is coming

My parents are coming for Christmas this year. so as Scruge would say "i'm going to be rather merry"

just trying to get all festive. we haven't had a tree for the last two years. with the crazy twins I thought it best. unfortunately their gone now, so here we go

I went to storage to get the decorations and tree, thank goodness for my clear tubs they were easy to find

our stockings are hung with care

Can you imagine, my baby is 24, she was born 6 pounds 14 ounces and at 330am on November 25th

thats her 3rd birthday. we used to have children adult parties back then, they were a big event and lots of fun. T is the one in front with the pink tights. others in the pic for those of you who know them... Well I believe she'll live after all!

It was really touch n go with kitty but I think she'll actually live

my provider sucks and i've been hard pressed to get online all week

at the beginning of the week kitty would not come out from under the bed. I was worried thinking she was wanting to be alone to die. a girl at my work said she thought she was getting better because she realized she could hide from people as she probably had to hide out in the wild

I hoped so and i'm guessing she was right, lots of improvement now

here is a weeks worth of updates on kitty, the last one is the best, getting to know you

this is how I find our girl now, she shows her freedom from the one bedroom by going into the other one and sleeping on the bed

Birthday dim sum

This time it is Christina's Birthday! yyyyeeeeeaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh

we had the usual yumminess

then we went to a bench on this little dead end street near Starbucks. we had a variety of cheese cakes: rasberry swirl, amaretto, chocolate swirl and my favorite of them all caramel chocolate chip hhhhhmmmmm

and we had sparklers, have to say though not as spectacular in the daylight. we tried to write our names but you couldn't see the trailers

then it was gone

after that we go to this great SHARE thrift store, I always find something and for the best prices

i've been looking for a flowy white or cream shirt and grey dress pants.

here is my new roof, you can only really see the finished product from the back. i've made the front so private you can't even see the house

now some new windows and we'll be rocking

here is an update on Muesli. doing much better but I had to get her hydrated again. she is eating and drinking but still dehydrated. the fear is that she is having kidney failure. we'll wait and see. she has gained 2 ounces and I think even more since her last visit to the vet

my company has now gone home, it was soooo lovely to toodle around and show off my great city. of course as soon as they left it pretty much stopped raining, figures

my new roof is finally done, yyyeeehhhhaaaa!!!!!!, pictures to follow

T started a new job yesterday, thankfully for her, she was starting to go stir crazy so now we can get back to moving forward. still waiting to hear if she gets accepted into BCIT for september. she has a new car, a lebaron, nice little car
