Rethinking The No Kill Zone
Seriously!!!!! this is the 3rd mouse this week.
I've never had mice in the house, I can't be sure but is FrodoBodo bringing them in or are they coming in the window I leave open for him? I can't imagine after all these years they would just start to stroll in
This little bugger has eluded me for 3 days now. I've caught him twice but he scurried up my arm and down my back and gone in a flash!
Today found he was stuck in the basement wall, UUUUrrrrgggghhhhh
I couldn't wrip the wall open from the best spot which would have been under the stairs, oh no, had to tear the paneling in the family room
More work to be redone now
He was just sitting there and I thought he would be all tired and hungry. Simply reached in to grab him and WHAM
He got away again....here I sit talking to you with the basement door wide open, hoping he just walks right out that door
Thought I would at least plug up the hole in the wall that got him into that mess to start with. No doubt he will find another way to get stuck somewhere
3 cats in the house, he is some illusionist

Little Back Porch Grease
Yikes! I'm so slow off the start. Just cleaning up the back porch now
My little bean knows me so well, she bought me a $50.00 gift card for Value Village for Mothers Day. Today was my day
Got these great red curtains. I live in a row house, shit! hate it. Anyways I digress. My goal at all times is to block out the neighbours and their crap
These curtains offer a better view
I have other goodies to add at a later date. Ran out of steam and light. This is just a preview really, curtains need to be cut and hemmed as well
Got this fabulous chair a few visits ago. It was so cheap I couldn't believe it. Had to literally tie it TO my car because I couldn`t get it into the car or trunk
Sorry can`t really show you the other side. There`s still a toilet and a vanity sitting there that's too heavy to move any further on my own

Abort Mission!!!! Pull Bbbbaaaccckkkk
You know when you hear that eerie screeching and rustling around noise that something has either gotten in or been brought into the house
Spent an hour hunting out this fella. Had him until a rouge ninja flew out of no where and knocked him right of my back, SHIT!
If I didn't find him I would have certainly had to listen to a murder at one point or another, probably like 3am
Pulled my whole bedroom apart including taking apart the bed and uploading the dresser. I finally found him inside my clothes in the drawer
I had already looked in this drawer a couple of times, was clinging to the clothes as I pulled them out
I see you
everything out and just one piece touching the drawer and he was scaling up to it
finally reached the top and then waited
cute little fella, hope he didn't get hurt in all the fuss

Living in the Forest LOL!!!!!!
I prefer a really woodsy look, however, this is insane
Before:
"Things that make you go hmmmm" when you can only see the top of the cats tail walking through the grass
After:
My friend asked me the other day how often I do yard work, my reply: 3 times a year

The Good Old Days
Went out with two of my besties from High School for dinner. We met up in our old stomping grounds, North Vancouver. It will always feel like home
The great thing about old friends is that no matter how much time has passed....no time has passed
I saw Dave for the first time in maybe 30 years a few weeks ago
I ran into Dale at the bank about 22 years ago
Greek food, gotta love it!
Then down to the Quay to try to walk some of it off
This yacht belongs to a German bazillionaire
Wow, wonder who is visiting in this picture, its not an orb or maybe it is an orb trying to run away
Dale is snuggle puss, I'm snaggle puss ...we need a puss name for Dave....hmmm
Vancouver, the city I love
This is the first train station in North Vancouver, it was refurbished near Carson Graham School years ago and now obviously moved here. It now sits beside the old Cates Tugs building. Cates was sold to Seaspan
Feel sorry for the guy with the yacht on the right, he must feel inadequate
The old Burrard Dry Dock ship building site is gone now. This restaurant is there and a huge square
In the 1800's someone would blow this horn to guide in ships. I say if the ships could not see the dock, how could the person see the ships?
The old crane for building the ships has remained
Also some pully things
We found this super cool exhibit. I'm the daft one that didn't take a picture, go figure. Got this one online
Image couresty of Google Images
Paine Hardware was the most lovely hardware store. It had not changed a bit since opening in 1911. In 1998 it was destroyed by fire. No wonder it was all the most superb looking wood shelving inside. We used to love to go in and walk around. Its the red brick building on the right. They left the shell and built another building right inside to preserve the façade
Lots of fun, hope to see the boys again
