I get up to making lovely meals for myself at the cottage

Yum, salmon and a crantini

the pump was a bit messed up for a couple of reasons

the plastic on the turn on valve had cracked and water, as you can see, was spueing out

Carter liked it

the pump had been bled so it needed to be closed and the little hose attached

little river in the basement

and so, I began

I was cutting out pieces of gyproc to piece together when Jerry and the kids stopped by with a nice full sheet for me

later, after I had gotten the gyproc on the floor I realized I couldn't pick it back up because its too heavy.   I waited for guests to drop by. Poor unexpected guests, their not aware of my web until they enter

Tim and Michelle were the first

we struggled with it of course, nothing is square or not in the way here

I'm the idiot that cut it too short. didn't bring my tape measure so I was eyeballing






then Jerry and the kids came back with the most wonderful appies

The best cottage life has to offer

Just back from THE most relaxing cottage weekend.

I must say I feel most comfortable in this space

Yesterday I did two Value Villages and a Share; good times, good times

I scored a 250.00 pair of Victoria Beckam for Rock and Republic jeans for 15.00 and a 1500.00 Giorgio Armani Coat for 24.99 and a Tania B summer dress for 15.00

Dad - May 8, 2012

I haven't said anything since the greatest man in my life passed. Even though I didn't make it in time to speak to him just one more time, I speak to him everyday.

every visit I made in the last year and a half I always knew it could be the last time I saw Dad but damn it when it was the last time I didn't know it and that pisses me off. would I have said more, I don't know, would I have done anything different, I don't know, but now I'll never know

I hope he knows just how much I looked up to him and cherished his wisdom

I hear Dale is missing him something aweful and I feel his pain

Mothers Day

I was lucky enough to be with my Mom on Mothers Day

now that I've returned home T and I could celebrate

we did dinner and a movie

T lost her wallet, but luckily some kind person turned it in

Look what Chris and Erin have been up to, rrr I mean Chris actually

Chris built the adirondack chairs himself and painted them these bright cheery colors, the patio was all dug up and new drainage done and the brick relaid as well as a new kitchen window
