NYC - 2

The next day we had all sorts of things on the go

we went to MOMA (Museum of Modern Art)

it was lovely to see works from Andy Warhol, Monet and Van Gogh in real life and not just in a book for a change

then we started to throw in the subway which was interesting, and very very hot!

Radio City Music Hall

we went to the observation deck of the Rockefeller Center building, lovely view 70th storey. Rockefeller Center was built by the son of the patriarch Rockefeller. the Rockefellers where at this time the richest people in the world and quite disliked by the masses because of father Rockefellers ruthless oil practices. this building was built during the depression so work, let alone 2 years of constant work for the employees restored the Rockefeller name because they were so grateful for wages. it was the workers that first put up a christmas tree to show their gratitude and it has been a tradition ever since. the Rockefellers are so rich they have spent most of their time actually giving away their money

T bought me mock Ray Ban's for my birthday, yeah

then back to the hotel to get ready for dinner

went to restaurant row and found yummy italian

the owner of the restaurant

this man was hilarious, kept telling us jokes

Broadway show row

we saw Rock of Ages, highly recommend it, brought me back to my teenage years

they were selling jello and test tube shooters so I got quite bombed as I'm not really a drinker and drank as many as I could in a short amount of time

after the show T and I walked to Time Square then jumped into a bicycle cart with a handy dandy young Russian driver, he's a student from Russia living in New York

he was fun whoosing us back and forth and we laughed so hard with the wind blowing through our hair
