Chateau Marmont photo shoot again

Since I posted a recent photo shoot I found at the Chateau Marmont I decided to post the photo shoot that was happening while we were there

we met the talented Anna Laub by the pool, she is the creator of Prism which started off with glasses and sunglasses. she was just getting ready to launch her new line of bathing suits.  T was the one that started to speak with Anna and her friend first. they were sitting by the pool sewing bathing suits like crazy. we spoke with them for awile and she told us she was getting the bathing suits ready for a photo shoot the next day.

I want one of these, only because i'm sure if I have one i'll look just the model in it, yeah right

they are supposed to be great suits because they have an underwire for support, apparently one of the only suits that does

those are Prism sunglasses the models are wearing as well

we saw them around several times over the next few days, they had a cottage in the courtyard just below us, how fun! i've been following Anna's blog ever since, she's in the fashion industry and travels the world

Dim Sum again

Yummy yummy, as you know one of my favorite outings

this time we added a new buddy to our birthday Dim Sum celebrations

its Kay, I call her Kay Ray Fay ... Jay, heh heh

the food was yummilishious as usual

after we ate, off to Starbucks for coffee's and birthday cheese cake

this flower shop down the street always has the best little arrangements there

then off to thrift store

Allison and Trevor's visit

Cousin Allison and her fiance Trevor flew in to town the same day I came home

funny we didn't hook up when I was in their neck of the woods so I was very pleased to see them in mine

first off we stopped in the park for a quick photo op at the point and of the bridge

we went to Granville Island and had lunch on the deck at the hotel then strolled around the market




 

we went to Earls on Top for dinner and met up with T and sat on the patio there
I was pleased because I wanted calamari for lunch but they were out so I had the oysters instead, however I had the calamari for an appy at dinner time

not enough time as they had so much other visiting to do, maybe next time we can hit up Whistler for a couple of days

our weather has really sucked and this was probably the last day they had with no rain, how aweful for them. I on the other hand don't mind it at all

Family - 6

We went to get some fresh strawberries at this farm that had these two billygoats in the side yard. of course I had to go pet them, they were very nice and friendly, which actually surprised me, my friend had a billygoat and it was not  very nice

we dropped by Gina and Gregs cottage and most everyone had a swim, wow what a view from the deck. the kids have grown so much since the last time I saw them

then my last day came, WAY too fast!

we started off by going to M's baseball tournament

M and cousin Cindy, they look very happy

the boys went fishing on the lake then we all met back up at Mom and Dad's

Jay so lucky gets to take home Mom and Dads old bed. the best bed ever I say. they've had it for so long but again its the best bed ever

Margo took this pic, she pushed some button that made the background change color, gotta figure that out. Dad looks very handsome

well i'm home again now and planning our next visit already
